The Delfino Emergency Broadcast System, also known as DEBS (its acronym), is Isle Delfino's instant warning/news system. As such, it gives the island's local Piantas, Nokis, and Tanookis (as well as any visitors, such as Mario) notations about various happenings around the island, including disastors or current events.

The Delfino Emergency Broadcast System has made two appearances. It was first seen in Super Mario Sunshine, where it would appear (in the form of words on a black background) on the bottom of the screen to do its job. Its next (and last) appearance was Mario Power Tennis, where it appeared in the Tic Tac Glow minigame as one of the game's generic advice messages, although labeled "DEBS".
