Focus is a command in Paper Mario that increases Mario's Star Power with a single command. It is learned after Mario defeats the Koopa Bros. and frees Eldstar, the elderly Star Spirit. In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door this special move was replaced by Appeal, a similar move. However, Focus always increases Mario's SP by a set amount, while the amount recovered while using Appeal varied.
Peach also uses this move when Twink is fighting Kammy Koopa. It raises Twink's Attack and Defense by 1 each turn it is used.
