Heart Swing is Peach's Star swing in Mario Super Sluggers. Once Peach uses her swing, she will draw a heart with her bat and hit the ball, cloaking it with hearts that stun the fielders trying to catch it. The stun effect only works on male players, so female players like Birdo or Daisy will not be affected and will catch the ball. If no players catch the ball, it will come to a stop and the hearts will wear off.
Oddly, this move affects certain indeterminate gendered characters as well, which may imply that the genderless fielders are really males.
