Mind Your Mummy Mommy, Mario is the third episode of The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3.
Plot Synopsis
Lemmy Koopa and Iggy Koopa (known as Hip and Hop respectively in the series) sneak into an ancient mummy tomb and steal the gold mummy case of Prince Mushroomkhamen, who incidentally looks almost identical to Mario. The Prince's mother, Queen Mushroomkhamen, awakes in a fury, and storms out into Desert Land, chasing the two Koopas. They escape into a pipe, and after the angry queen passes by, Iggy notices that the prince "looks familiar".
The scene switches to a house in the Mushroom Kingdom, where Mario is taking a nap. Soon, a Mushroom person enters in a panic, explaining that a mad mummy is loose in Desert Land. Mario hops out of bed, and sets out to stop it, along with Luigi, Princess Peach(Known as Princess Toadstool in the cartoon), and Toad.
The heroes arrive in Desert Land to find Queen Mushroomkhamen angrily chasing various citizens around. Mario attempts to calm her down, but gets a pile of debris thrown at him instead. In the chaos, Lemmy and Iggy make their escape to Castle Koopa. However, they don't go unnoticed by Peach, who sees them and deduces that the queen is upset because of the stolen mummy case. Peach follows them, along with Luigi and Toad, leaving Mario behind to deal with the mummy. Mario gets her attention, and at first sight, she mistakes him for her son. Mario runs away, but is captured before he can escape.
Meanwhile, Peach, Luigi, and Toad pursue the two Koopalings, only to see them escape in a Doomship with the case. Bowser taunts the heroes, then flies away. Discouraged, they head back, only in time to see Mario being carried by Queen Mushroomkhamen back to the pyramid. Peach says that they need a map of the pyramids, which reminds Toad that he has a cousin who is a map salesman. The map shows the Mushroomkhamen tomb, featuring pictures of the queen and prince next to it. Luigi is convinced the map is a fake because it "has a picture of Mario on it", but Peach figures out that the stolen mummy case contained Prince Mushroomkhamen, who coincidentally looks just like Mario. They decide to break into Bowser's castle to retrieve the mummy case, in order to trade the real mummy for Mario.
Meanwhile, Queen Mushroomkhamen is still convinced that Mario is her son, and tries to put him down for a "nice ten thousand year nap." Mario, fearing for his life at this point, screams out for help.
At Castle Koopa, Raccoon Luigi pulls Peach and Toad through the air, who are riding a steamcloud balloon. They accidentally run into a tornado, which ruins their entire stealthy approach. Two Paragoomba guards see them, and go to alert Bowser. Peach and company find the mummy case, and Luigi builds steam-powered sled to get it down the staircase. Bowser and his troops arrive on the scene, but are driven out of the way by the sled.
Then, Mario escapes through the roof of the pyramid, but is chased out by the queen. Peach, Luigi, and Toad arrive just in time and explain the mix-up. She's relieved at this, but then sees Luigi, who she says looks exactly like her husband. She chases him into the horizon, and the episode ends.
