Golden Plumber's Helper (King Mario of Cramalot)

There are two Golden Plungers that appeared in The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! As the name would imply, both are solid golden plungers that were featured in two seperate episodes.

King Mario of Cramalot

The first Golden Plunger appeared in the episode "King Mario of Cramalot / Day of the Orphan". The Golden Plunger was originally located in the town square of Cramalot, wedged inside the Sacred Sink of Cramalot. It is said that whoever removed the Golden Plunger from the Sacred Sink of Cramalot would gain untold power of be crowned the new king of Cramalot.

Mario, in order to defeat King Koopa, managed to pluck the Golden Plunger from the Sacred Sink of Cramalot, though he later had the Golden Plunger taken from him by King Koopa. Later, when Mario dueled a Golden Plunger weilding King Koopa, he managed to knock the Golden Plunger from King Koopa's grasp with the Excalibur; what happened to the Golden Plunger afterwards is unknown.

The full extent of the Golden Plunger's power is unknown, as the only ability of it that was shown was it's power to disintegrate.

Plumbers Academy

Another Golden Plunger appeared in the episode "Plumbers Academy / Glasnuts". This Golden Plunger was given to Mario in a flashback sequence by George Bush for saving him and Mikhail Gorbachev from a flooded street in Brooklyn.

Mario lost the Golden Plunger in a fight with King Koopa, as he managed to get it stuck on his nose in the process. When Mario and his friends were trapped at the bottom of a hole, Mario worried that he would never get the Golden Plunger back, and tells the story of how he earned it to Princess Toadstool and Toad.

After escaping from the hole, Mario and his friends manage to get the Golden Plunger off of Koopa's nose, and Mario happy once again.

Despite the Golden Plunger's importance to Mario, it was never seen in any other episode.
