Plot Synopsis

The episode opens in Desert Land, at the Sultan's palace. Suddenly, his bathtub starts pouring oil instead of water, and to fix the monumental plumbing problem, he calls for the Mario Bros. When they arrive, along with Peach and Toad they get to work on the problem, and the king explains that his palace was built over an oil well, and that somehow the pipes from his well got crossed with the pipes from the oasis. Mario and Luigi must now reconnect the pipe system.

Meanwhile, in the palace basement, Larry Koopa (known as Cheatsy in the cartoon) and Wendy O. Koopa (known as Kootie Pie in the cartoon) are working on stealing the sultan's oil to refuel the Doomship. Wendy uses her wand to alert Bowser that the Mario Bros. are on the way down, and he instructs her to stall them until they can finish draining the oil well completely dry. Larry takes out his wand and turns Wendy into a human woman, who he refers to as "Mario's dream girl", but in his haste neglects to remove her tail.

When Mario and Luigi arrive in the basement, Mario is instantly infatuated with the strange woman, unaware that she is actually Wendy. She introduces herself as Lady Fettucini Alfredo, and says that she's been lost in the underground caverns for days. Luigi says that he thinks he saw a tail, but she quickly hides it and knocks him out of the way. Mario sets up a table, candles, and spaghetti, offering "Lady Fettunici" a seat. She claims to be an ameteur plumber herself, and suggests bringing the sultan and his guests down to the basement, as she puts it, "where they'll be safe in case the, uh, castle explodes." The sultan, a guard, Peach, and Toad are brought into a room in the basement as she suggested, and are then locked within said room. At this point Wendy reveals herself, and Larry transforms her back to normal, much to Mario's horror and disgust. Before he or Luigi has time to react, they're swept into a hole in the floor by a wave of oil. Bowser arrives and congratulates his kids, then heads upstairs.

The Mario Bros. land under the castle, among the various pipes. They enter a pipe, and head back up to the basement, to find Wendy and Larry at the door of the locked room, taunting Peach and the other captives. While they're distracted, Mario grabs one of the wands and dashes out of the room. Deciding to use Wendy's own strategy against her, he uses the wand on Luigi, turning him into a Koopa in a tuxedo, "Kasenova Koopa." He instructs Luigi to distract Wendy while he takes care of the plumbing upstairs. He suggests they "clear out the riffraff so they can get some privacy", and so Wendy lets the prisoners go. Soon after this, Wendy's wand accidentally goes off and turns Luigi back to normal. This enrages Wendy, and she and Larry angrily chase him upstairs.

Luigi arrives in the main castle, alerting the others that the Koopa Kids are chasing him. Mario gets ready, and blasts them out of the way with oil when they arrive, causing them to slam into Bowser and his troops, who just enter the room. After they continue fending off advancing enemies, Bowser and his kids escape into the Doomship, and begin attacking the palace. Mario grabs an oil pipe which begins rocketting out of control. Doing his best to steer it, he sprays right into the Doomship, causing the Koopas to retreat.

However, the battle destroyed the palace, and it was left in ruins. Discouraged at first, they notice one of the Koopa wands was left behind, and they use it to rebuild the palace. The palace is successfully fixed, but the wand melts after it's done, preventing future use. Celebrating, the team runs into the palace, with Mario and Luigi arguing over who gets first dibs on the jacuzzi as the episode fades out.
