Metroid

Metroid is one of 9-Volt's microgames in WarioWare: D.I.Y.

Gameplay

The microgame is based on the Game Boy Advance game Metroid: Zero Mission. The player controls the bounty hunter Samus Aran running across the stage. When she is tapped, she will curl into her Morph Ball and continue moving. If she is tapped again, she will pop back up. Towards the middle of the stage, there is an enemy known as Skree that must be rolled under, or Samus will be damaged. After that, she must pop back up to grab a missle tank on the other side. If she grabs the missle tank, the game is won. However, if the player cannot avoid the enemy in the middle or fails to grab the missle tank, the game will end in a loss.
