Aron Tager is an American actor, artist, and voice actor. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1934. He has displayed several exhibitions of his artwork, including sculptures. He took over a twenty-year break from acting to work on his art. He made his mark in the Mario world with his portrayal of Cranky Kong in the Donkey Kong Country TV series. He played the cantankerous old curmudgeon throughout the entire series forty episode run.
