The Lottery Pick is an optional bonus item in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. On the west side of Rogueport Mario can buy a lottery ticket from the brown Bulky Bob-omb Lucky for 10 coins. Each ticket which has a 4-digit number on it. Everyday at mid-night, a new winning 4-digit number is posted. Mario can change your number for another 100 coins.
Prizes
Prizes are awarded when a number matches in its exact spot and are given by Lucky after checking the winning number:
- 4 numbers – 3 Gold Bars and free games at Pianta Parlor
- 3 numbers – Lucky Day Badge and Zess Special
- 2 numbers – Ultra Shroom
- 1 number – Life Shroom
- 0 numbers – Mushroom
The player can cheat by resetting the GameCube's clock, but doing it again and Lucky shall punish Mario.
