Glacial Meltdown is a battle mini-game in Mario Party 8.
Beginning
The minigame opens with the 4 characters on an iceberg. When a Buzzy Beetle comes, they are scared by it. However, one of the characters knocks the Buzzy Beetle back into the ocean.
Gameplay
All of the characters are on a large chunk of ice, attempting to knock all the other players off. There is also a Lakitu floating above the iceberg who will drop Buzzy Beetles; although these Buzzy Beetles hurt characters, the Buzzy Beetles can prove themselves helpful in that jumping on them results in them retreating into their shell, which nearby players can kick into opponents.
