| '''Ball Dash''' is a [[special move]] found in ''[[Mario Superstar Baseball]]''. When a fielder with the Ball Dash ability has the baseball in hand, they will run extremely fast around the field. The player can use this in the outfield to shorten his or her throwing distance quick, or to make easy tag-outs in infield. It can only be used by [[Goomba]]s and [[Monty Mole]]s. The move reappears in the sequel, ''[[Mario Super Sluggers]]''. It serves the exact same function as in ''Mario Superstar Baseball''. However, the Ball Dash ability was expanded to include [[Noki]]s, as well as Goombas. Monty Moles cannot use the move in ''Mario Super Sluggers'', which was replaced with the [[Burrow]] ability.
