Dream Snowboard Cross is an event in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games. Unlike regular snowboard events, this features items. This event takes place at night at Radical Highway, which is a stage from the Sonic Adventure 2. The player can also collect rings, and when getting enough, pressing the A button will give the player a boost, just like in Dream Alpine, Dream Ski Cross and Dream Short Track.

DS Version

Extreme Snowboarding

Dream Snowboard Cross also appears in the DS Version referred as Extreme Snowboarding but it does not take place on Radical Highway. In the version, the Player must snowboard 2 laps round a track. Its obstacles are a Chain Chomp and some Egg Pawns. When jumping off ramps, the control pad is used to perform tricks to fill up a bar on the bottom right of the top screen. Tricks cannot be performed unless B Button is pressed at the edge of the jump. Pressing Y Button uses the character's special dash and depletes the bar. A ghost can be used to steal some of the special dash time from other players in front.
