They inhabit the stifling depths of the Barrel Volcano, hence their strength against fire-based attacks. As the name suggests, Armored Ants are ants that wear heavy armor, thus they have high defense. However, they are weak against ice attacks such as Mallow's Snowy. During battle, Armored Ants attack with their axes; but they can also utilize the skills Vigor Up and Endobubble.
Armored Ants are related to another enemy found earlier in the game called Shoguns.
