The Museum is a location in the level The Case of the Missing Mural in Princess Peach: Showtime! and approximately two-thirds of the level take place inside the building.

Visitors usually have to buy a ticket to access the museum, as what Ribboner has done, but since the museum is in lockdown during the level due to concerns about a threat note placed on the Theepota mural, police employees and approved detectives (e.g. Detective Peach) could go inside for free during the level but no one regardless of profession could go out from it.

Many of the exhibited items document various points in Theet history and cultures. According to a fossil exhibition in the outer room, the museum area was "submerged in water long ago".

Layout

There are three rooms, an outer room with the exit door, and an inner room with a popcorn kiosk. Visitors are intended to enter the inner room through a door on the right, but a police officer is blocking the door as the inner room is also in a lockdown of its own. There is a small window to the left of the Theepota mural, the only significant source of fresh air in the museum if the window is opened.

However, a ventilation channel behind a stone slate leading to a backroom offers an alternate way to enter the inner room.

The direction of where the door between the outer and inner room goes, results in the ventilation channel having to be very long and turning at least 180° in order to be spacially correct.

The Case of the Rainy-Day Plot

A model of Museum (Princess Peach: Showtime!) in The Case of the Rainy-Day Plot in Princess Peach: Showtime!.
The model

A small model of the museum appears on The Case of the Rainy-Day Plot, as one of the possible places Detective Peach must choose between to determine where the Sour Gang will attempt to destroy a building with a bomb.

“It's a model of a museum! Looks familiar, huh?”
