Yoshi standing atop a pillar with a bow on it

Bows[1] are objects appearing in Yoshi's Woolly World and Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World. They are pieces of string in a shoelace knot that disappear when a Yoshi eats one, causing the object it is attached onto to be consumed with it, resulting in the production of a Big Yarn Ball. Some bows also fly in like lepidopterans until they reach the object that is to be consumed. Bows are relatively semi-common throughout both games.
