'''World Star''', usually written as '''World ★''', is the special world of ''[[Super Mario Run]]''. It was added to the game in version 3.0.4. Although its exact terrain is unknown, it contains nine course that consist of the jungle, [[Airship]], [[Ghost House]], desert, sky, and [[Tower]] themes.

While prior Worlds in the game have courses that are unlocked in a linear order, World ★ courses are only unlocked after the player completes a mission tied to that course. Courses can be unlocked and played in any order. None of the enemies introduced in this world can be [[level up|leveled up]].

World ★ courses contain ★[[Pink Coin (Super Mario Run)|Pink Coin]]s, ★[[Purple Coin]]s, and ★[[Black Coin]]s instead of normal [[Color coin]]s. These coins are identical to Color coins, except that the various ★ coins are tracked separately from the non-★ coins.
