When the areas are cleared, [[Goombrat|Goombrats]], [[Scuttlebug|Scuttlebugs]] and [[Wiggler|Wigglers]] appear. The [[Virus|viruses]] featured in the regular stages are red, yellow and blue, while in the challenge stages, the featured viruses are green, light-blue and pink.

The objective of this stage is to eliminate all viruses, including any that appear from flasks.

This stage will scroll for one line each time enough objects are cleared, and will stop after 6 lines are introduced.

After the two sets of keys and doors, there are two keys with doors directly above them in Brick Blocks. Above the row where the final doors are located are flasks. The rest of the stage contain hidden viruses in Brick Blocks, Dust Viruses and viruses found in plain sight, alongside crates. Filled flasks in this stage will shoot out Brick Blocks. This stage will scroll for one line each time enough objects are cleared, and will stop after 9 lines are introduced.

Once it is cleared, the remaining area of the stage map gets cleared of viruses, and players can access [[World 10 (Dr. Mario World)|World 10]]. Upon completion, players earn a free Staff Ticket that lets them unlock either a new doctor, a new assistant, or leveling up an existing doctor or assistant.
