==Layout==
This level takes place inside a [[volcano]], filling up with rising lava. This level is also unusual in that it is a wrap-around level. The player must be quick to progress upwards through the level in order to outrun the lava.

The player starts in a seemingly blocked-off section of the level, though simply walking left will let them progress upwards. There are multiple [[Koopa Troopa]]s patrolling the area, though many can be found on top of [[floor]]s that will flip them over if jumped on. A [[Pipe Cannon]] is also present in the area to assist the player in outrunning the lava. After the player passes by a pipe infinitely spawning [[Goomba]]s, they will reach the level's [[Checkpoint Flag|midway point]].

After the midway point, [[Spin Block (New Super Mario Bros.)|Spin Block]]s appear. The player must use the Spin Blocks to soar upwards and progress through the level, while also avoiding the [[Koopa Paratroopa]]s in the area. After a group of [[trampoline|spring]]s, the player will come across multiple [[Spiny|Spinies]], all on floors that can flip them over if jumped into. After getting through the group of Spinies, the player will come across another Pipe Cannon; entering this pipe will make the player soar out of the volcano into the last part of the level.

After exiting the volcano, the player can head right to reach the [[Goal Pole|pole]]; however, heading left will reveal an additional spring that can be used to soar upwards and reach the top of the pole, earning the player a [[extra life|1-UP]].
