'''World 7-8''' is the eighth main level and the tenth level overall of [[Pipe Land]] in ''[[Super Mario Bros. 3]]''. The level becomes accessible upon completing [[World 7-6 (Super Mario Bros. 3)|World 7-6]] and its own completion unlocks [[World 7-9 (Super Mario Bros. 3)|World 7-9]].

==Layout==
The player starts on a plain with a [[Piranha Plant]] in a [[Warp Pipe|pipe]] to the left. Above it are two pipes each with a [[Fire Piranha Plant|Venus Fire Trap]], followed by a tall pipe with another Piranha Plant. Afterward are five pipes with the ones on the ends and in the air containing Piranha Plants the player has to avoid and time their jumps to. Beyond the pipe are a group of [[? Block]]s over some [[Semisolid Platform]]s, with one of the blocks containing a [[Super Star|Starman]], and the far-leftmost [[Brick Block]] in the formation ahead contains a power-up. At the next Brick Block formation is a [[Nipper Plant|Walking Piranha]] on top and the player can find a [[1-Up Mushroom]] in one of the blocks. Next, the player will encounter a [[Ptooie]] and can find a [[Super Note Block|Magic Note Block]] directly to the right of the hanging pipe that will send the player to [[Coin Heaven]], and the pipe at the end will drop the player near where they left. Afterward are some more pipes (the leftmost one leading to a bonus room with a [[Hammer Suit]]) with a Ptooie and a Piranha Plant, followed by a broken bridge over a line of [[Muncher]]s. Next are both a stationary and mobile Ptooies in and around pipes, followed by a [[Fire Nipper Plant|Fiery Walking Piranha]] and a Walking Piranha on two rows of blocks before the [[Goal (Super Mario Bros. 3)|goal]].
