A [[Brick Block|brick]] round next to a Mushroom Platform above a pit can be hit with a Koopa Shell, releasing a [[1-Up Mushroom]]. A few more Mushroom Platforms are found, with some Koopa Troopas and Koopa Paratroopas. [[Piranha Plant]]s are located in [[Warp Pipe]]s. Following another Mushroom Platform with three Koopa Paratroopas, the [[Checkpoint Flag|midway point]] is found. Two Koopa Paratroopas are found around a structure of bricks and a ? Block containing a power-up. More grassy platforms follow, with more Koopa Paratroopas and Piranha Plants encountered.
