World 6-A is the first special course of World 6 in New Super Mario Bros. 2. This course is unlocked when getting to the secret exit in 6.
To access this level, the player needs to complete World 6-Ghost House via the secret exit.
Layout
The player starts on a platform next to a Lava Bubble, and must enter a red pipe to access the level; it takes them to a diagonal area with five more Lava Bubbles followed by several groups of coins further down. In the next section, the lava will begin to rise as soon as the player begins moving to the right. The area contains several coins along with Dry Bones, Lava Bubbles and Big Dry Bones. Near the end, there is a ? Block that contains a Star inside, followed by a red pipe that leads to the exit and the Goal Pole.

Star Coins
Completing this level unlocks World 6-Fortress, skipping World 6-2 and World 6-3.
*Star Coin 1: The Star Coin is in plain sight in the air. The player must jump on the Dry Bones or off the platform just ahead to reach it.
*Star Coin 2: The second Star Coin is found shortly after the first above a gap in the player's path.
*Star Coin 3: After the second, there is a platform below that moves up when stepped on. Past it is a Big Dry Bones that can be used to reach the third Star Coin. Raccoon Mario or Raccoon Luigi can also fly up to the platform.
