The level begins with three islands above a pit, and a vertically-moving Lift leading to a tall island. Past this is a wide pit, with a horizontally-moving Lift bridging the gap to another three islands, leading upwards to another horizontal Lift which moves below a ? Block containing a powerup, with 3 Coins leading to a small island with three Flimsy Lifts to its right. After this is a large Island to the right of a Scale Lift, which leads to a Warp Pipe. Entering the Warp Pipe will take Mario to an underground section where he will enter to a small chamber with Brick Blocks above him; if Mario is not Super Mario, he will either have to die to the Piranha Plant or run out the timer, otherwise, breaking the Brick Blocks will lead Mario to a larger chamber with more Coins and an exit pipe. To the right of the Warp Pipe is another horizontally-moving Lift, leading to two islands with Red and Green Koopa Troopas on them, as well as a row of six ? Blocks above it, five containing coins and one containing a powerup. In the middle of the two islands is a warp pipe. If Mario exited the secret room, he will exit from this pipe. Past these islands are three more Flimsy Lifts, before one final tall, thin island with a pit to its right, before the flagpole.
