World 3-3 is the third level of World 3 in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It is unlocked by completing World 3-2. This level mostly takes place in an icy cave. Completing this course is not required in order to progress in the game, but doing so unlocks a Green Toad House.
World 3-3 is the third level of the third world in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. This level is an icy cave level with three parts. There are floating platforms, falling Icicles, and giant falling icicles that Mario can walk on, and some enemies such as Goombas and Ice Bros.

The level starts out on the snowy surface, with a ? Block and an Ice Bro located nearby. There is a Warp Pipe near the Ice Bro, along with an Invisible Block containing a 1-Up Mushroom. The pipe leads to an icy underground area with water, several falling icicles and floating ice platforms. After a Goomba-spawning pipe and the first Star Coin is a Roulette Block, an Ice Bro and more Goombas followed by a Warp Pipe leading to the midway point. The player then comes across giant falling icicles which can be walked across, along with more smaller falling icicles. After some distance, a giant falling icicle appears with another Warp Pipe nearby. Entering the pipe brings all players to another underground area. This section is filled with falling icicles. A barrel is found at the beginning of the area, under a platform next to a ? Block. After another Ice Bro is a Warp Pipe leading back to the surface. A small hill leads to the pole.
The level starts out on the snowy terrain, with an item box and an Ice Bro up ahead. There is a Warp Pipe near the Ice Bro. This will bring them to an icy underground area with water, finding several falling icicles and moving ice blocks throughout the first of 3 underground areas. After the Goomba pipe and the first Star Coin, a Roulette Block will show up, followed by an Ice Bro and a few Goombas before the warp pipe to the Midway Flag. Then, Mario and co. will come across giant falling icicles, along with more smaller falling icicles. After some distance, a giant falling icicle appears, with another Warp Pipe near it. Going through it brings all players to the final underground area. A barrel is near the warp pipe exit, and is almost necessary for clearing this section filled with falling icicles. After another Ice Bro, yet another warp pipe appears. This brings Mario and co. to another snowy terrain, with a small hill and the Goal Pole.  The Penguin Suit and Super Mushroom are the most common items found in this level.

*Star Coin 1: In the first area, there are platforms moving toward the left, and there is a green pipe which is releasing Goombas as obstacles to the player. Go into the water before the green pipe, but after the third ? Block. Allow the ice platforms to push you towards the left to a hidden alcove containing the Star Coin.

*Star Coin 2: There is an Ice Bro in the second area. The Star Coin is just above it.

*Star Coin 3: In the third and final area, there is a barrel just beside the green warp pipe. Carry it towards the exit, being careful not to accidentally lose the barrel by hitting the ceiling. At the end there is an Ice Bro. When there is a delay between ice throws quickly dash past it and roll the barrel towards the Star Coin.

|In the second underground area, the second Star Coin floats over an Ice Bro, two ? Blocks, a row of bricks, and four Goombas. Mario and co. must jump up to the Star Coin while avoiding the Ice Bro.

|In the third underground area, Mario and co. must pick up the barrel and carry it all the way to the end of the area. Once there, Mario and co. should avoid the nearby Ice Bro and throw the barrel at the third Star Coin, which is floating over a pit to the right.
