==Layout==
Starting with two small gaps to be crossed, the players then reach a section resembling the "top and bottom" [[Fire Bar|Fire-Bar]] sections that were in the namesake original level, but now with [[Spike Trap|spike]]s instead of Fire-Bars. There is additionally a power-up [[? Block]] at the end of the section.

The players then encounter a stone cage labyrinth, requiring frequent hits into [[Face Block (switch)|Face Block]]s to remove the impassable [[Dotted-Line Block]] walls from the gaps.

Afterwards, bridges consisting of Dotted-Line Blocks have to be crossed. Players dropping below the bridges can find themselves temporarily trapped unless they hit Face Blocks underneath the bridges, or may fall down the small lava pits below the middle of the bridges. Mario can however also cross all three of them with full-speed dash jumps.

Making it then through a short drop chicane, two gaps modeled on the ones from [[World 2-4 (Super Mario Bros.)]] indicate that [[Bowser]] is nearby. Making their way past him and touching the [[axe]] will win the level. There are no victory cutscenes and the level cuts immediately to the result screen.
