'''World 1-1''' is the first [[level]] of ''[[New Super Mario Bros. Wii]]''. It begins immediately outside [[Peach's Castle]] and introduces the player to rolling hills and a new power-up, the [[Propeller Suit]]. Its completion unlocks [[World 1-2 (New Super Mario Bros. Wii)|World 1-2]].
==Layout==
Princess Peach's Castle can be seen in the background at the beginning of the level, just as in ''[[New Super Mario Bros.]]'' There are also three [[? Block]]s, a few [[Brick Block|brick]]s, and a [[Goomba]]. To the right are some moving sections of land, the latter of which has three [[platform]]s above it, and a [[Warp Pipe]] within it that leads to a room with [[coin]]s, bricks, and a [[P Switch]]. The [[Checkpoint Flag|midway point]] can be found after exiting the sub-area.

If players have the Propeller Suit, which is accessible in several ? Blocks, they can access a [[Red Ring]] on a platform in the air to collect a [[1-Up Mushroom]]. Further along is a rolling hill with a secret alcove; if the player [[jump]]s onto the pipe and waits, they are brought to an area with three hidden 1-Up Mushrooms and lots of coins. The pipe itself leads to an area with a [[Star Coin]]. After the player jumps over a few [[pit]]s, the [[Goal Pole|pole]] can be seen past the last rolling hill.
