Coconut Mall makes its classic course debut in ''[[Mario Kart 7]]'' as the third course of the [[Banana Cup]]. The course is considerably shorter in length than that of the original Wii version. There are many changes that have been made to the course, mostly due to technical limitations of the [[Nintendo 3DS]]. Because all of the Piantas were removed, colored arrows were added to the escalators, with green arrows on the ones going up, and red arrows on the ones going down. The part under the glass floor is flooded. The first shortcut is no longer an off-road portion, meaning it can be cleared without the use of Mushrooms.
