'''Wigglevines''' are a plant-like species, which first appear in ''[[Donkey Kong Country Returns]]''. They only appear in the [[Forest (Donkey Kong Country Returns)|Forest]] world. In fact, their only appearance is in the level [[Wigglevine Wonders]], where they play a major role in assisting [[Donkey Kong]] and [[Diddy Kong]].

As their name suggests, Wigglevines are organic plant-like creatures, which have a vine attached to them. They are also capable of flying, and come in different sizes. The [[Kong]]s can grab hold of a Wigglevine's vine, and it will carry them. The large Wigglevines can handle the Kongs' weight, and carry them past large [[pit]]s. The small Wigglevines, however, can only handle the Kongs' weight briefly before their vines break. As a result, they are not capable of transporting the Kongs like their larger brethren.

Although the Wigglevines can help the Kongs get past abysses, they cannot defend them from enemies, such as the [[Tiki Zing]]s. Therefore, the Kongs have to constantly move around to avoid the enemy attacks. Along with enemies, they should also avoid roaming around the Wigglevines' red leaves, as those deal damage upon contact when spinning.
