'''White Yoshis''' are a species of [[Yoshi (species)|Yoshi]]. They are unlockable and are rarer than [[Black Yoshi]]s. They, alike the Black Yoshis, can eat things that normal ones cannot, like [[Pepper]]s. One can be found in Stage 3-2: The Tall Tower. White Yoshis appear in ''[[Yoshi's Island DS]]'', playable in the Extra stage in each world.

In ''[[Mario Power Tennis (GCN)|Mario Power Tennis]]'', [[Yoshi]] can change colors every time he performs a [[Rolling Egg Return]], provided the player has completed the [[Flower Cup]] with any character. One of the colors that Yoshi can turn is white. In Yoshi's Story they can be found in Page 3-2, 3-3. 

==Abilities and Features (''Yoshi's Story'')==
*Like the [[Black Yoshi]], White Yoshis can eat things that the other Yoshis wouldn't like.  This includes [[Red Pepper|red peppers]] and [[Black Shy Guy|Black Shy Guys]].
*White Yoshis can fire eggs that explode when their happy meter is full.
*White Yoshis can flutter further when they're a [[Super Happy Yoshi]].
*While the Black Yoshi has the lowest pitched voice, White Yoshi has the highest pitched voice.

In ''[[Yoshi's Story]]'', White Yoshi debuts with white skin and cyan shoes with a red saddle. This design has gone unchanged. They were also in ''Yoshi's Island DS''. They were unlockable by getting a perfect 800 in a world when they were then able to be played in the unlockable course.

*Another strange matter is that although Yoshi is playable in ''[[Super Mario Sluggers]]'', both White and Black Yoshi are not a playable color.  Also, the Orange Yoshi and Purple Yoshi are absent in that game too.
