What a Wonderful Warp is the third DVD release of The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 (fourth, if considering the full boxset released in 2007), and the second published by NCircle Entertainment, released on March 3, 2009.[citation needed] What a Wonderful Warp's theme is, as the name implies, warps, made by the Mario Bros. or King Koopa and his kids, mostly to the real world. The name itself is likely a pun on the title of the 1960s jazz song "What a Wonderful World".

Episodes[edit]

  • "Misadventures in Babysitting"
"The Mario Brothers are warped into a Brooklyn apartment and mistakenly appointed as baby-sitters for a rebellious and prank-playing brat, Junior. During a game of hide and seek, Junior sneaks into the Warp Zone entrance, lands in the Mushroom Kingdom, and befriends the Koopa kids, actually helping them trap Mario and Luigi in the belly of a heated volcano!"
  • "A Toadally Magical Adventure"
"Toad is toadally infatuated with the Wizard King's new magic wand. Against the wizard's wishes he uses the wand to create giant pipe creatures that he hopes will keep King Koopa's army away. But Toad is unable to control the power of the wand, and the pipe creatures turn against him and wreak havoc on The Kingdom."
  • "Mush-Rumors"
"A family of humans stray off their vacation path and find themselves lost in a remote corner of the Mushroom Kingdom. A rumor is quickly spread throughout the land that the humans are evil space aliens, causing widespread panic for the Mushroom People and the Koopa Clan."
  • "The Ugly Mermaid"
"In an underwater battle with King Koopa and his Doom Sub, the Brothers find themselves flung into Mertropolis, an underwater kingdom where they meet Princess Holly Mackerel, the ugly, fish-headed mermaid who falls immediately for Mario. In the end, Mario narrowly escapes marrying the ugly princess."
  • "The Venice Menace"
"When a gondola suddenly warps into the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario and Luigi discover Venice, Italy is under siege by a terrifying Sea Monster! When the brothers warp off from the Mushroom Kingdom to Venice, their fears are confirmed. The Sea Monster is the handiwork of King Koopa. In a valiant struggle they manage to warp King Koopa and his Sub back to a desert waste-land in the Mushroom Kingdom."
  • "Super Koopa"
"Kooky Von Koopa makes a magic pendant that gives King Koopa the power to become Super Koopa! But it only works in the real world, so the Koopas lure Mario and Luigi thru a warp pipe to Paris. With his new Super powers, King Koopa takes Paris by storm! Becoming Super Mario Brothers, Mario and Luigi fight Super Koopa to save Paris from Koopa rule."

Sneak peeks[edit]

The DVD also includes sneak peeks for other shows:[1]

Errors[edit]

Originally, "A Toadally Magical Adventure" was broadcasted before "Misadventures in Babysitting," but the episodes' records in the NCircle Entertainment database were wrong, so in the final product, "Misadventures in Babysitting" was played before "A Toadally Magical Adventure."

Trivia[edit]

  • "Super Koopa" had been affected with glitches and bugs in the full boxset released in 2007 (and its re-release in 2013) due to the master tapes being defective. Although, in this DVD, this does not happen.
