Original Motion Picture Soundtrack]]'', released by {{wp|Capitol Records}}. It is a cover of the song "{{wp|Walk the Dinosaur}}" by {{wp|Was (Not Was)}}, this time performed by {{wp|George Clinton (funk musician)|George Clinton}} and an uncredited female vocal. The song is credited to "The Goombas featuring George Clinton" on track listings. Aside from being the third track on the official soundtrack, it was also released as a stand-alone CD, cassette, and vinyl single. Vinyl releases were made available as either a standard 7" record, a 12" record, or a picture disc depicting [[Yoshi (film character)|Yoshi]]. The song is the second song played in the [[Super Mario Bros. (film)|''Super Mario Bros.'' film]] credits, after "[[Almost Unreal]]" by {{wp|Roxette}}, and is also played on the main menu for the Umbrella Blu-Ray release. The lyrics are slightly reworked from the original, with the part "Acka lacka boom boom" being changed to "Acka lacka [[Goomba (film species)|Goomba]]" and other similar variations.

The music video features George Clinton and a female back-up dancer in a leopard print outfit dancing in front of flashing colors, scenes from the movie and an animated picture of an iguana.
