vs. Donkey Kong Plus or Level DK+ (called Donkey Kong Plus in Mario vs. Donkey Kong for the Game Boy Advance) is the final stage where Mario faces Donkey Kong for the  final time in Mario vs. Donkey Kong and its Nintendo Switch remake of the same name: the fourteenth in Mario vs. Donkey Kong for the Game Boy Advance and the eighteenth in Mario vs. Donkey Kong for the Nintendo Switch. The level begins immediately after the completion of Level 6-DK+ in Mario vs. Donkey Kong for the Game Boy Advance and Level 8-DK+ in Mario vs. Donkey Kong for the Nintendo Switch. Its name is shared with Donkey Kong Plus, a canceled remake of .

In Mario vs. Donkey Kong for the Nintendo Switch, initial completion of this level will unlock Time Attack for all Plus levels in the game. Like with vs. Donkey Kong, there are no Gold Stars or Time Attack associated with this level.
Donkey Kong's Robot is the final boss of Mario vs. Donkey Kong. After running off with six Mini Marios, Donkey Kong hopped into this giant robot and stuck the toys in between its fingers.

Overview
Attacks
The level begins with Donkey Kong using a large mech suit to grab six Mini-Marios, three in each hand. Donkey Kong controls the hands and moves them around, and each time one hand or both hands hits the ground and the player is on the ground, Mario will be immobilized briefly. The hands are also capable of squishing Mario if he is under them, defeating him. Debris will also fall from above each time a hand strikes the ground, along with a barrel falling onto the platforms above. Another attack is to press its two fists together, squishing Mario and making him lose a life if he gets caught in the middle. The robot will either do this with its fists against the ground, or hovered slightly above it. If two barrels fall on the two edges of the battlefield, the robot will put one fist in the air and the other lying on the ground. The fist in the air pounds down, the other moving out to squish the barrel. The robot will not do this if Mario is not trying to get the barrels. This was changed in the remake, where he always performs the attack.

To defeat Donkey Kong, the player has to reach the platforms by using the mech suit's hands as platforms to gain enough height. The barrel will fall off screen if the hands slam onto the ground again. The player has to throw the barrel at Donkey Kong's cockpit to damage the suit, releasing one Mini-Mario each time. Donkey Kong's hands will move faster with each hit. Damaging the suit seven times will destroy the mech suit and play the final cutscene, with Mario giving Donkey Kong one of the Mini-Marios as his own, followed by the end credits.
DK's Robot's attacks all involve its fists.

* The first attack is to bang the ground with one of its fists. This will temporarily immobilize Mario, and cause hazardous objects to rain down (as well as a Barrel). The Robot sometimes does this with both fists.

Trivia
The Robot's only weakness is its head, in which DK controls it. Mario must pelt it with Barrels seven times, the first six times freeing a Mini Mario. The last Barrel will take out the Robot for good, electrocuting DK and blasting him out of the destroyed machine.
*The robot's overall pattern heavily resembles that of Giant Donkey Kong from Stage 9-9 in the Game Boy Donkey Kong.
*In , the channel featuring the announcer counting in Spanish on Donkey Kong's television in the intro is changed to a clip of the remake's arrangement of the music for vs. Donkey Kong Plus.

The Robot in fact resembles a robotic Kong. It has a long laser that acts as eyes and a mouth that indeed looks like Donkey Kong's.
