| I first started a wiki using the wikia fandom, where it was easy to start (there's a create wiki button). However, the overuse of ads gave me spacing and loading issues, so I sent in a request to have my wiki moved to Gamepedia, where it is now being hosted with no problems (at least, at the moment). Running a wiki, whether group-hosted like Gamepedia or individually-hosted like the Super Mario Wiki, can be difficult without the proper knowledge and is all about upkeep. I had some help getting the Gamepedia version started, and I'm sure they'll help you as well.

| See Mario jc's comment above. The purpose of redirects is to aid with searching. Nobody looking for the [[Thwomp Caverns]] article will search "second castle" after a random quote (especially since that second castle is never built); there's no reason to add it as a redirect. | :If what you were trying to do was creating a ''piped'' link (that is, linking to an existing page with differently displayed text), it's done like this: <code><nowiki>[[Page you want to link to|Name you want to display for the link]]</nowiki></code> So for "[[Thwomp Caverns|second castle]]", it would be <code><nowiki>[[Thwomp Caverns|second castle]]</nowiki></code> (This is ''only'' an example, however; I think including the link is unnecessary for the same reason 7feetunder has explained.)
