Nope, that's not where it came from. I originally wanted to go with something that was interesting, but not just another instance of your average, everyday username. I finally settled on the (presumably) simple yet understated "Phoenix"...though whether or not that adequately accomplishes what I was trying to do is kinda in the eye of the beholder, I guess. I was going for the legendary mythical bird (wanting to let the name sorta speak for itself), but only after choosing that username did I realize just how many different things it made reference to, directly or indirectly. However, that's one that never occurred to me (I've never actually played any ''F-Zero'' games before).

:Thank you for telling me, Phoenix :-) The phoenix is a rather cool mythological creature (though my favorites are angels) and because of that, it's understandable that people might think it references something else, since so many things reference it. -I don't understand how you think my edit on the ''Smash Bros.'' stage description seemed "trivial and useless" to you. What exactly is useless about it? All I did was add an extra image and list the two types of the same stage in just one sentence.
