Ohhhh I'm so sorry about that! Yeah I actually thought that might fill up the recent edits too much. Its just that on my phone I have two tabs, one for editing the wiki and one for getting the information. And whenever I leave the tab, it doesn't save my changes when I got back to it, so that's why I save all the time. I'm so sorry about that! I guess I will have to get all the information that i will use, then save it in one big edit. Again, sorry about that! :)

If you want to pluralise a link by adding an "s", you can simply add it after the brackets instead of writing the name twice: <code><nowiki>[[Lakitu]]s</nowiki></code> (instead of <code><nowiki>[[Lakitu|Lakitus]]</nowiki></code>) Works the same and saves time!

:oh, really, AWESOME!! I guess I didn't notice because I literally saw the edit Owen made where he deleted the stub and said it wasn't a stub anymore. Yeah, the DKR courses took me a while. Espically because nobody has footage of the DS exclusive levels on the internet. LOL. The only source I used were these really blurry videos of them on youtube. It was all squinting for me! Before uploading an image, '''please check''' to see if the image isn't already uploaded elsewhere. 

On the topic of personal images, you should sign them with <nowiki>{{personal-image|Tommy8353}}</nowiki>, and you can only have [[MarioWiki:Personal files|up to four]]. Additionally, when uploading images, you need to categorize them, as well as give them the {{tem|aboutfile}} template. Here's some examples:

:okay, I understand that some images already exist. But I find it stupid that I have to categorize my pictures when I'm only going to use them for my userbox tower! I don't want to upload them. ::You don't necessarily need to categorize personal images, as the {{tem|personal-file}} template will do that for you. However, if the image already exists, you can use that image instead in your userbox instead of uploading a similar one. ::Concerning image uploaded to the wiki itself, you can only have four marked as a personal image. However, you can simply paste the URL of an image onto your user page to get the same result. Using an image on here as an example, pasting <nowiki>https://www.mariowiki.com/images/7/75/Mario.png</nowiki> on your page will produce https://www.mariowiki.com/images/7/75/Mario.png <br>as a result, without wasting an upload. ::Yes to the first question. You just have to be using it on your userpage, otherwise it may end up getting deleted.
::The aboutfile template is used to tell viewers what the subject of the image is, where the image was found (if available), etc. (See the aboutfile-reminder template above). Never should there be two images showing the exact same thing; if that's the case, one will end up getting deleted.
::One thing I forgot to mention is that the aboutfile template is entirely optional regardless of what type of image you're using it for. If you don't know what to put down in the template, just get rid of it completely! The aboutfile is automatically listed when uploading a new image, so just simply fill in the parameters and remove the ones you don't need. I realize the rules we have on images can be somewhat off-putting at first, but there isn't a lot and they are pretty simple. My next question is since you said I need to apply the rules to uploading images to articles, since I have to use an about file template, (obviously cuz it's not on the wiki if the article requests an image) if I can't find any sources on the internet, what if I have the game and go to the point in the game where I need to take a screenshot? What would I put for things like the resource and things like that? If I can understand your two answers to these questions, we should be about wrapped up here. ::For the first question, I misunderstood on my part. What I meant was you have to be using your personal image on your userpage, otherwise it could get deleted. Whether you use an aboutfile template on a personal image or not is up to you.
::If you're uploading an image directly from the game (through the Wii U's browser, for example), you can either list the source as "In game screenshot" or just simply leave it blank. If you pull an image from, say, the Spriter's Resource site, you would list the page you found it on. Give credit where credit is due, yeah?

I'll fill in for images using Google Image Search. The only time you should use Google Image Search is for art that you can't seem to find from reliable sources (I think there is a list of said reliable sources as a policy page). When you do use Google Image Search, the search itself is not the source of the image because a search result is an index of materials matching the search query. Also the index can change, meaning the real source can be lost forever. In this case, click <code>visit page</code>. That is your source URL. Clicking <code>view image</code> is for the image itself to make [[Special:Upload|uploading]] easier. For screenshots and sprites, use [http://www.spriters-resource.com Spriter's Resource] or [[User:Wildgoosespeeder/sandbox|my guide]] to obtain them. My guide allows for maximum control over taking a good screenshot compared to getting the images elsewhere. --{{User:Wildgoosespeeder/sig}} 19:19, 24 April 2017 (EDT)

Before you get too deep with supplying images for articles that need to be created for ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'', please consider [[User:Wildgoosespeeder/sandbox|my WIP guide]] how to get high quality images from games of various platforms. If you can't do that, tag your uploads with {{tem|image-quality}} so that way some one else can get to it ASAP. :Additionally, this is something I've noticed you do a lot, when naming an image, please make sure there's no space between the file name and the file type. For example, I moved [[:File:SMM Adventure in Sarasaland .jpg]] to [[:File:SMM Adventure in Sarasaland.jpg]].
