Since I'm that into music, nearly every entry will have what I'm currently listening to. Sometimes, when I'm trying to make any progress on a game, there will also be what I am currently playing. Sometimes there'll be both.

Monday, February 23, 2009 - IMPORTANT NOTICE: PLEASE READ

REASON: Nothing much has been happening... I hope everyone had a great Christmas, I sure enjoyed mine. I don't like Valentine's day much, so meh.

Reason I'm writing is because I probably won't be on MarioWiki for a while. NO, I'm not quitting/leaving, but there are things.

You see, we're renovating. The guys are doing the rooms we normally use, and the ones that connect our bedrooms to the rest of the house. So our bedrooms are blocked off. As such, we're staying at my aunt's house while the construction guys are doing the floor, and she doesn't even have a computer. (Yeah, she lives by herself with her two dogs.)

Another reason is my religion. I am a Roman Catholic, and unafraid to admit it. This Wednesday is Ash Wednesday, which marks the first day of Lent. For those of you unfamiliar with the Faith, Lent is a forty-day period of mourning just before Easter. On Ash Wednesday, we have only two meals (which is why we gorge ourselves on Fat Tuesday), and throughout Lent, we have to give up something we enjoy to show we're making sacrifices. And I'm doing the same thing I do every year: giving up video games and using the computer just for my entertainment.

So yeah, I won't be online for a while. You could, however, hope for Sundays. Sundays are the only days where Roman Catholics don't have to live up to their Lenten promises, because they don't count as part of Lent. It'll go on until sometime in April, so this is just to let you know why I'm not replying to your messages very promptly.

Actually not really listening to or playing anything. :/

Things are pretty normal, but this past weekend has made me realize just how much I NEED a scanner.

You see, I draw ALL THE TIME at school. I draw Mario stuff, Donkey Kong stuff, Kirby stuff (I draw a LOT of Kirby stuff.), and I draw Green Goblin stuff occasionally, AND I draw all this in my assignment book.

I usually just leave my book open so I can draw in it, and that means that sometimes other people see it. I actually show my drawings to a few of my friends. But sometimes other people see it, particularly in Science where we sit at tables and it was in Science that I realized how I need a scanner.

A bunch of people were at my table in Science on Friday, and my assignment book was open, so they decided to look through it. They really liked my drawings and they were even picking out favorites 0_o. Even yesterday some kid I don't even really know all that well kinda creeped me out a little bit in Social Studies (I sit next to him in that class.) by telling me he liked to watch me draw while I was making a big drawing of Skurvy.

I WANT TO JOIN DEVIANTART ANYWAY, BUT I HAVE A STRICT CLUB POLICY, AND THAT IS THAT IF YOU CAN'T REALLY DO ANYTHING FOR YOUR CLUB, YOU MIGHT AS WELL NOT JOIN.

BUT THIS IS TOO MUCH

PRESSURE!!!

Which is why I must have a scanner for Christmas, as well as Kirby Super Star Ultra and Donkey Kong Country: Legend of the Crystal Coconut, and a bunch more crap.

I AM SO SORRY. I HAVEN'T WRITTEN IN FOREVER. AND WHY AM I YELLING? I'LL STOP NOW.

Okay, anyway, not much is happening. I started seventh grade, thought I waould hate it, but like it fine.

I'm basically trying to sum everything up in about a few sentences/paragraphs.

I got addicted to Homestar Runner again after the 200th Strong Bad Email.

My assignment book is being used as an eisel. I do more drawing in it than writing assignments.

The Donkey Kong Country TV series caught my attention and now I'm addicted. I love how they just break out into song and stuff! My favorite characters are Skurvy, Green Kroc, Klump, and pretty much all the Kremlings except Kutlass. I love Skurvy so much I draw him in my assignment book! BD, I am seriously considering asking for a scanner for Christmas (among other things) and joining DeviantART. I'll post some of my favorite YouTube videos on my userpage.

And, that's pretty much it.

Yeah, okay, sorry, I lied. I'll tell you all about it today. I assure you my absence was unintentional. So anyway.

We flew from Indianapolis to Denver, and that trip was fine. Then the trip from Denver to Seattle was THE most nauseating flight I've been on. Lauren and I spent most of the flight asleep, since that seemed to cure our nausea.

Anyway, in Seattle, in the area of stuff concerning Sam, we went inside a couple Microsoft buildings, and I gotta tell ya, if Microsoft wasn't rivaled by Nintendo, and I didn't want to be an astronaut so badly, I would want to work there!

We also saw Sam's apartment. He has a roommate named Drew who seems just as nerdy as sam if not even more nerdy, but I think I should mention that Sam seems to really enjoy E games, and Drew has an Xbox and nearly all his games are Mature titles or Teen rated. But on the whole, Drew and Sam seem to be getting along pretty well. Oh, and Sam has apparently been watching a lot of Cartoon Network.

In the area of what we did with our vacation, we did lots of stuff! We went whitewater rafting, saw the Space Needle of course, cause going to Seattle without seeing the Space Needle is like going to London without seeing Big Ben, which I incidentally happen to have seen. On the same day we went to the Space Needle (which exits in a gift shop btw, like Disney rides), we went to the Seattle Music Museum (CAN U BELIEVE IT!?) and looked at the Jimi Hendrix exhibit. On a side note, Jimi was one of the first musicians to destroy his guitars onstage, either by burning them or smashing them. Oftentimes, the guitar in question would be painted with phsycedelic (Is that how you spell it?) poems or imagery, because the guitars were offerings to the Gypsy Queen. I know. Absolutely NO sense-making.

Then on the later half of the trip, we went hiking and even spent a whole day at Pike Place Market. PPM is a little shop area in Seattle that smells badly like fish (probably cause that's what they sell the most) and is really close to the waterfront, which has a really nice view. If you want my opinion, if you're really into fish, even the general area, not just the market itself, is a great place for it. We went looking for a place to eat by the waterfront, and nearly everything was a fish place.

All in all, it was an awesome trip, but I'm glad to be home again. The flight back to Indy was directly from Seattle and was delayed btw.

Yay, first entry!!!!!!!!!!

Not a whole lot's happening, but remember Sam? He's a Microsoft intern and is working in Seattle. We'll be visiting him in 2 days, and that's why I won't be on the wiki for a while since then. Sam definitly won't let me use his laptop, and Lauren's not bringing her's and wouldn't even let me use it if she was, and I'm sure as heck not going to pay to use the Internet at the airports.

So, from the 1st of August, I won't be online for a while.
