| I know I'm not who you were talking to, but it's actually fine for users to swear on their user page, due to most people simply using the wiki for the articles rather than the users. However, while this is a family-friendly wiki, swearing does happen even in articles like [[Bob Hoskins]]'s. Unless it gets really bad (like a vandal's going crazy or said user is just blatantly being a jerk), it doesn't really matter. Userpages are encouraged to show who you are, and if you swear a bit, then that's who you are.

| :Yep, there's nothing wrong with a one-off swear word on their userpage (or even a reasonably moderate amount of swearing, for that matter). However, swearing which becomes blatantly excessive is where the line is drawn.
