I've noticed you've been making edits that are similar to those made by grammar checkers (like changing "in order to" to just "to"). Please don't run grammar checkers over articles without checking the results if you're using one, as they're not 100% reliable and can pick up false positives (for instance, assuming "Yux" is only singular and changing "Yux produce" to "produce'''s'''" when the name is the same in singular and plural). {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 11:45, July 30, 2024 (EDT)

== Hold and drop rates for Badges. ==
How did you manage to easily calculate the drop and hold rates, for most of the badges in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door and how do I do it? {{unsigned|Sentient freedom}}

You're doing this when copying the ''[[Super Mario Party Jamboree]]'' name to infoboxes and references lists, but please remember to do this yourself when you type out the name in the article itself. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 23:42, August 30, 2024 (EDT)
Ok but what do you mean by that? [[User:Sentient freedom|Sentient freedom]] ([[User talk:Sentient freedom|talk]]) 09:05, September 6, 2024 (EDT)
:When you type out a game title, make sure it's formatted properly in italics like the reminder here explains (''[[Super Mario Party Jamboree]]'' instead of [[Super Mario Party Jamboree]]). {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 04:58, August 31, 2024 (EDT)
Also, how do I put in images, I have the image for the ''Super Mario Party Jamboree'' version for Defuse or Lose but I don't know how to put it in on this wiki that is. [[User:Sentient freedom|Sentient freedom]] ([[User talk:Sentient freedom|talk]]) 09:06, September 6, 2024 (EDT)
:Go to [[Special:Upload]] (it's the "Upload file" link under "tools" on the left navigation pane) and follow the steps there. Also, remember to sign talk page comments with <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>, even on your own talk page. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 08:46, September 6, 2024 (EDT)

how do you manage to do all these Names in other languages templates? do you use Google Translate or something? [[User:Sentient freedom|Sentient freedom]] ([[User talk:Sentient freedom|talk]]) 16:26, September 9, 2024 (EDT)
:They're names taken from official foreign-language versions of games and other media. They shouldn't be unofficial or fan translations, including Google Translate. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 10:29, September 10, 2024 (EDT)
== Grammar ==
Make sure you watch your grammar when writing. You're hardly using punctuation where they should be used (not enough commas, and hardly any periods at all) and creating {{wp|run-on sentence}}s (basically writing long sentences that should be split into multiple, separate sentences). Consider looking into that part of grammar or going over some of your past edits (and [[Shop Hop Box|article]]) to see how your writing was fixed. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 10:27, September 10, 2024 (EDT)
Ok so forget that last post I made I got it figured out. So can you please give me steps on how to upload files without black backgrounds? [[User:Sentient freedom|Sentient freedom]] ([[User talk:Sentient freedom|talk]]) 04:35, September 13, 2024 (EDT)
:If the image has a transparent background, sometimes image-editing programs like Photoshop automatically add a black background to it when you paste it into one (I copied/pasted the artwork to Paint.NET with no problems). If you instead "Copy image address", then in Photoshop go to "File", "Paste Embedded" and paste the URL, it shouldn't add the black background. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 06:55, September 24, 2024 (EDT)

You're still making run-on sentences:
<blockquote>
#''The player goes around the boards as a single character talking to NPCs and fulfilling goals for them and gaining [[Mini Star]]s, also some NPCs will give the player Mini Stars if they clear a minigame, rewarding two per minigame.''
#''This means that the other players are ranked based on how many logs they have chopped also if no players have chopped any logs within a certain time limit all players immediately receive last place.''
#''There is a new Bros. Attack which functions immensely similar to [[Bomb Derby]] also Capnaps, Magmads and Iceads return as enemies.''
#''The minimum number of Mini Stars the player can get is 30 collecting all of them can allow them to gain a souvenir from Yellow Toad.''
</blockquote>
You're frequently sticking "also" in the middle of sentences (as in #1 to #3). If you use "also" to introduce something, it should start a new sentence. For #4, this doesn't make sense as one long sentence; these are two independent clauses and should be separate (or even just connected with a conjunction like "and").
<blockquote>
#''The player goes around the boards as a single character talking to NPCs and fulfilling goals for them and gaining [[Mini Star]]s'''. Also,''' some NPCs will give the player Mini Stars if they clear a minigame, rewarding two per minigame.''
#''This means that the other players are ranked based on how many logs they have chopped'''. Also,''' if no players have chopped any logs within a certain time limit''',''' all players immediately receive last place.''
#''There is a new Bros. Attack which functions immensely similar to [[Bomb Derby]]'''. Also,''' Capnaps, Magmads and Iceads return as enemies.''
#''The minimum number of Mini Stars the player can get is 30'''. Collecting''' all of them can allow them to gain a souvenir from Yellow Toad.''
::''The minimum number of Mini Stars the player can get is 30''', and collecting''' all of them can allow them to gain a souvenir from Yellow Toad.''
</blockquote>
Try to improve on where you need to use periods and commas (and use them more often, [[Special:Diff/4392999|like here]]), otherwise it may be hard for people to understand/read; other than this, your grammar is fine. You're allowed to use a grammar checker on your own writing if it helps; it's just not a good idea to run it over all of the text already on the article [[#Grammar check|for the reasons I mentioned above]]. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 09:22, October 11, 2024 (EDT)
== Impostor Bowser ==
Just an FYI, since [https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/super-mario-party-jamboree-switch/ the English Super Mario Party Jamboree page] uses "Impostor Bowser" rather than "Imposter Bowser", that is what this wiki is using at the moment. == The 'Shroom ==
So I saw The 'Shroom and I saw all of the characters and then I said "Wow I like all these characters". And I wished My made-up character was there, (a light-blue Kirby with a blue Mario-style cap with a D in place of an M). The problem is I have no idea what that would host, and I'm not that good at digital writing.

== Media ==
So I uploaded the media file for the Wide Open! theme from ''[[Mario Party: Island Tour]]'' and I know that all copyrighted music must be 30 seconds long, so how do I clip it to be that long? :You can use an audio editor program like [https://www.audacityteam.org/ Audacity]. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 07:35, November 12, 2024 (EST)
When you're replacing a file, the old file should be marked with {{tem|delete}} (preferably with the new file linked for convenience), not {{tem|delete-request}}. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 23:54, November 15, 2024 (EST)
==Run-on sentences==
[[#Grammar]] - Review what I said here, and I strongly suggest reviewing edits to your articles by other users to see what to improve on ('''[[Special:Diff/4429688|here]]''', and '''[[Special:Diff/4430083|here]]'''). You're still leaving a number of run-on sentences in your writing. You need to use more periods (or conjunctions) and commas; use a period when you start a new thought or "topic" (like explaining what the enemy looks like, then where its name comes from), and commas to break up phrases so they're not too long-winded to read. Other users are able to fix any errors made, but this is still something worth learning on your own if you're going to continue to make text-heavy edits. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 07:35, November 12, 2024 (EST)
==Source for your songs==
Hey, just to let you know, the source for your songs you've recently uploaded is a legal gray area and I would highly recommend against linking to it or mentioning it in your source. {{User:Ray Trace/sig}} 19:34, November 15, 2024 (EST)
