Sorry, but we do not cover the Sonic Series here. That is for a Sonic Wiki. Thanks for reading and keep contributing. 16:09, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

Sonic is more related to Mario than Banjo and Conker combined. If you don't believe me, see Talk:Banjo-Kazooie (series). SeanWheeler 16:18, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

:Well, no. Banjo and Conker were developed by Rareware and Nintendo, while Sonic was not. Sorry. 16:20, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

Banjo and Conker only made one appearance in a Mario game, which was a Donkey Kong game with no Mario in it. Yoshi, Wario, and Donkey Kong are recurring Mario characters which is why their series are on this Wiki. Banjo and Conker only had one appearance so they don't count. Banjo and Conker's appearance in Diddy Kong Racing was just advertisement for their series. when Rare left Nintendo for Microsoft, they gave Nintendo back Donkey Kong but kept Banjo and Conker. If Banjo is still a Nintendo character, then in Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, he would be a Wii exclusive, not an Xbox 360 exclusive. Sonic on the other hand has 3 crossovers with Mario. They both competed in the Olympics. They were both in Brawl. Sonic may not be a Nintendo character, but he was the most involved with Nintendo than any other Sega character. In Diddy Kong's Quest, his shoes were next to a trash bin. Do you remember the Harry Hedgehog enemies from Yoshi's Island? They were references to Sonic. Mario and Sonic had been rivals from the start. The reason why Sega created Sonic was to compete with Mario. The two series were kinda similar. Look at how many articles about Sonic characters are on this wiki. That is a lot of Sega characters. And look at the Banjo and Conker articles. Just Banjo and Conker. Only 1 each! Their series don't deserve an article. So here is my advice. Delete the Banjo and Conker series before deleting the Sonic series! SeanWheeler 02:25, 11 July 2010 (UTC)

About reversing this proposal...
Hi! I totally agree with you, we need to reverse this proposal. Once the proposal about Shadow passes, do you think we should take action? Thanks for putting in your two cents in my proposal, by the way-- I really appreciate it. -- 15:06, July 22, 2024 (EDT)
:Yeah, there should be a proposal about giving the crossover characters back their full names after Shadow the Hedgehog gets his name back. SeanWheeler (talk) 00:17, July 23, 2024 (EDT)
::If Shadow the Hedgehog gets his name back. But if you put up a proposal to reverse that other one, I'll totally back you up. -- 15:25, July 23, 2024 (EDT)
