| So this would have dated back to when I was a patroller / admin. Essentially, we were able to check IP information to make sure that users weren't having multiple accounts attempting to evade bans etc., and so you shared information with another account. It would have been entirely understandable, however, if you had completely forgotten the password to the old account and wanted to continue with a new account, but I was after that information to know whether to ban the old account.
