| Right at the top of the page it says "Every vote should have a reason accompanying it." Your vote had no reason, because "see no reason why not to" does not in any way show how passing the proposal would benefit the wiki. This means that the vote was cast in violation of the rules, so it had to be removed. "Per [user]" is valid reasoning because it means "I agree with what [user] said". Furthermore, this has nothing to do with sysops. Every user is entitled to remove invalid votes. And a word of advice- stating that the policy is "completely unfair and downright wrong" is rude and reflects poorly on you.
