| Youtube Poop isn't official, while everything we put on here is (with the exception of recently announced games).

| What I'm trying to say is that even though it's an actual item, it's not important- on Wikipedia, they have guidelines on what isn't notable enough for its own article and frequently "merge" articles of characters and such into lists and such. However, recently this has been being abused to the point of luricrousy on Wikipedia, redirecting well-established characters who are the main characters in popular shows, games, etc., and making merging the rule rather than the exception. But on here, merging and in-universe notability isn't enforced Enough, to an equal degree of ludicrousy. Yet both sites refuse to accept YTP info... I want another explaination!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Moleman9000 22:31, 9 October 2008 (EDT)

| :We've tried to tell you that we don't accept that stuff. Just please don't add it anymore. Other than the YTP you've made some good edits. ;)

| :YTP just isn't official enough for this site. If you want to add it to articles, go to Fantendo. We rely of canon, not fanon. 22:34, 9 October 2008 (EDT)

| I do not consider YTP "fanon", since it, as a fictional universe, has virtually no continuity across different videos unless they are explicitly related to one another. If anything, it falls under Sightings, which are covered on this sight. It is a NECCESITY that we mention, even if not by name, Youtube Poop in both Mama Luigi and Hotel Mario. You probably didn't even check YTP out before you started this discussion, did you?Moleman9000 22:41, 9 October 2008 (EDT)

| :1337 isnt Super Yoshi, and neither am I. I didnt copy his name or stuffz, but w.e. Bottom Line is that dont add POV or fanon stuff here.

| ::To Moleman9000: Yes, I actually check YTP quite often because I find it interesting; however, it has absolutely no relevance to this site because it is fan-made. Nintendo did not make it, it is not officially licensed by Nintendo, nor any of its affiliates that have published Mario games. The fact here is that we go by the information given by Nintendo and its affiliates only; YouTube is not an affiliate of Nintendo – it is a community-based site that allows people to post videos of anything on there, official or not. YouTube Poop has not been certified as official anywhere, thus it cannot be considered official on this site. We only accept official information, be it from interviews, guides, or the game itself. Because of this YouTube Poop has no relevance to this wiki whatsoever. Now, please stop inserting YouTube Poop, POV, and other fanon into articles before you get blocked. 22:54, 9 October 2008 (EDT)

| ::I think you already got the answer that would make you happy (and I like everyone to be happy) - Fantendo. I'm sorry this is getting so heated like this, but unless you can pass a Proposal about the topic, we are bound by policy to delete unofficial and fan content. So, those are your options (1) Make a proposal or (2) Contribute to Fantendo. However, I consider the loss of a user who can write as well as you do great, so please consider staying with us. 00:02, 10 October 2008 (EDT)

| Can you make them look like this? The details for the article aren't really related to the World, it's just expanding the intro sentence. Thanks. God job though on creating them.
