Assuming the ''Donkey Kong'' franchise takes place in Mario's world, it would be interesting to discuss Kremlings in relation to Koopas, since they're both reptiles. For instance, what influenced cuteness as an evolutionary trait in Koopas that the Kremlings didn't need to take into account? Of course, this would be more of an in-universe take; obviously there are conscious design choices behind each of these fictional groups, as Koopas wouldn't fit in the world of ''Donkey Kong Country'' or vice-versa. {{User:Bye Guy/Sig}} 14:45, August 27, 2020 (EDT) | Assuming the ''Donkey Kong'' franchise takes place in Mario's world, it would be interesting to discuss Kremlings in relation to Koopas, since they're both reptiles. :As you noted in the end, the designs principles don’t match, the Kremlings and the Koopas follow radically different styles. As such, these can’t really be discussed in-universe but are the reflection of how different is the view of the UK-based Rare designers such as Kevin Bayliss, Gregg and Steve Mayles versus the view of the Japanese designers such as Shigeru Miyamoto, Yoichi Kotabe and Takashi Tezuka. Even friendly characters like Winky had this very different cartoony look, in which most of the cute features I mentioned can’t be found. While of course the two looks really clash when seen one alongside the other, I personally like that they didn’t try to force the Japanese look on the Kremlings, consistent world building was never the forte of the Mario universe in any case, which actually allowed us to have the Ruined Dragon in the same world of Draggadon.—[[User:Mister Wu|Mister Wu]] ([[User talk:Mister Wu|talk]]) 16:14, August 27, 2020 (EDT) | :As you noted in the end, the designs principles don’t match, the Kremlings and the Koopas follow radically different styles.
