Recall what I said here; category links should be "images" categories (categories like "Mario forms" are for articles only) and in square brackets without the curly brackets. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 09:28, June 22, 2023 (EDT)

This tells me nothing about why Water shouldn't be tagged {{unsigned|MisterMarioYT}}

Also, please don't add one image at a time to an article as you're uploading. It's better to upload in batches, then add them all to the article in a single or few large edit(s) so the page history isn't flooded with edits. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 01:36, June 24, 2023 (EDT)

Don't forget to add "Category:" to the category link (e.g. <tt><nowiki>[[Category:New Super Mario Bros. images]]</nowiki></tt>) - [[User:RHG1951|RHG1951]] ([[User talk:RHG1951|talk]]) 21:15, June 24, 2023 (EDT)
"(game) media files" are for audio and video files, not image files. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 23:17, June 28, 2023 (EDT)
== Names ==
Don't capitalise parts of names that aren't proper nouns (like "water tide" to "Water Tide"), or change official names used in the game/film to the standard names (Brick Blocks and Spinies are called Bricks in ''NSMB'' and Spiny Shells in the movie, so they shouldn't be changed). Also, there's no need to [[MarioWiki:Manual of Style#Linking, linking, linking!|link to the same character]] in every row they are mentioned of the table. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 00:10, June 25, 2023 (EDT)
When I was referring to "Bricks", I meant ''NSMB'' specifically; that doesn't mean every other article should use "Bricks", because names vary between games and media. The game/film article should use the object name that the game/film gave it, and if it didn't, just use the standard name (which is "Brick Block"). And when I said not capitalising non-proper nouns, I meant generic terms that aren't established as actual names. "? Block" is a unique name given to the object and is therefore a proper noun and should stay capitalised. Also, read my italics reminder below, and don't link to [[Water]]; this is a different kind of "water" (an item from ''Paper Mario'') and isn't a relevant link for the movie. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 10:40, June 28, 2023 (EDT)
Stop reverting the link; I've already explained just above why the link is irrelevant. The current link is for the ''Paper Mario'' item, and it doesn't matter if it's the only one not linked. If you continue re-adding the link, a warning will be issued. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 11:29, June 28, 2023 (EDT)
{{reminder|2=capitalising non-proper nouns in conjectural names}}
Not only are you still doing this, you're also still changing subject names to their standard article title names, when they should use the name the game used at the time, e.g. "Checkpoint Flag" which should be "midway point" on ''NSMBW''-related articles, because that's the name the game used for them (check the subject article to see the names used in each appearance). Generally, if an article was deliberately linked with its display name changed to match the context, leave them alone. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 08:32, September 22, 2023 (EDT)
Linking as "<code><nowiki>[[darkness]]</nowiki></code>" with the initial in lowercase works the same way. Please stop changing instances of lowercased non-proper-noun words to capitalised words. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 02:18, September 25, 2023 (EDT)

== Reuploading ==
Also, if you're uploading a new version of an existing image that's the same format, click on the "Upload a new version of this file" on the existing file page instead of uploading separately. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 10:36, June 28, 2023 (EDT)
==Image category links==
Images should always be "Category:Super Mario Bros. Wonder images" in '''square''' brackets, not "enemies" or anything else in curly brackets. You were doing this correctly for the Mario Movie images; you just do the same thing here but with the different title. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 11:22, September 2, 2023 (EDT)
== Its vs it's ==
"It's" is short for "it is", not the possessive pronoun, which is "its" ("emblem on '''its''' flag", not "it's flag"). {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 22:11, September 3, 2023 (EDT)

On a different subject, game titles with identifiers should be formatted accordingly [[Special:Diff/3998637|like this]]. Since "(Nintendo Switch)" isn't part of the game title, it shouldn't be italicised. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 08:47, September 18, 2023 (EDT)

Please don't create a new page with only a sentence worth of information, especially without the most important information that most users would visit the page for (rules and gameplay). {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 07:14, October 18, 2024 (EDT)
== Image category links ==
You're going back and forth between correctly using "(game) images" when categorising images and "(game) objects", "items" etc.
Images should ''only'' use "Category:(game) images" links. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 09:51, October 19, 2024 (EDT)
== Bowser Jr. Block ==
Howdy. Can you provide a citation for the title of the article [[Bowser Jr. Block]] or clarify if it is conjectural? Thank you. - [[User:Nintendo101|Nintendo101]] ([[User talk:Nintendo101|talk]]) 13:06, October 21, 2024 (EDT)
