While Donkey Kong can only use the Mark Star Banana, we generally refer the user of an item as "the player" instead of the character that they are playing as. That's fair. I'll change it back. I normally say "the user" instead of "the player", though, since CPUs can use items as well. While a CPU can never use the Star Mark Banana, I'd rather say "the user" just for consistency. Also, your current signature is raw code and per [[MarioWiki:Signatures]] complex raw code in signatures is not allowed so if you want to use a complex signature then you will have to create it as outlined on [[Help:Signature]]. The Rabbit Ear is a lock-on throwing item. If it hits a racer, that racer will grow rabbit ears and will uncontrollably hop for about 7 seconds, which can really screw them up because you can't influence direction or accelerate while in midair in Arcade GP.
