I thought it was a weird glitch on my end at first, but something peculiar I've noticed recently is that "meta categories" are no longer visible when I'm signed off. I can understand maybe hiding something like the merge and split templates from casual readers since those are really meant between editors, but I don't know why the another language and conjecture templates are hidden from view unless you are signed on. I think it's useful to have those visible at all times, especially since we tend to not cite in-game references and thus readers can easily mistake a conjectural title for an in-game name, and while it didn't stop ''Super Mario Bros. Encyclopedia'', I was optimistic that future writers will learn not to follow that example, which defeats the purpose of some of our criticism if those templates are now hidden. Additionally, not everyone browses the site signed on unless they're ready to edit, so these details can now be missed. Why was this change made, and can it be reconsidered? Hiya! I'm a little new to editing stuff here. Last night I made an edit to the Trivia section of the Drip Drop Galaxy page by commenting on the reuse of its model in good egg galaxy. this morning I saw that not only was my content in the trivia section deleted but the other stuff was too. I noticed that your profile says you auto scan things but just in case this was deliberate can you tell me why this was deleted and if so how I can avoid adding unwanted information in the future?
I understand that for most of these, they're just the same artwork but at a lower resolution. However, would it not be good to at least have Bee Mario art with a transparent background? I mean, we have black-BG and transparent-BG versions of the ''Dark Moon'' art for King Boo and E. Gadd. As well, a bunch of these artwork have a little bit of shadow outlining around the character, yet we still have shadowed and shadowless versions of artwork, in particular, Rosalina's art from ''Smash 4''. I don't think ''all'' of the reused art needs to be uploaded, but I don't think that warrants dismissing all of them at once. (Unless there's some kind of Wiki policy that I haven't read.) Hello! I recently uploaded some of the Mario Party Jamboree character icons and they were removed by you for being “blurry and upscaled.” While I appreciate your efforts to provide the most quality screenshots of the character icons, I can assure you I did not upscale the icons. I did however, remove the background of the icons, and place a white square in the background of the icons, to remove any of the excess teal background, and to make the icons look much cleaner. The white square in the background is unnoticeable and I think works as placeholders for the icons until the game is released. I’m sorry again if I come off as rude. I am a beginner for contributing on the wiki and just want to provide the best information I possibly can. Thanks so much!

So, I have been doing another run of RPGs, this time finding every item found on field and given by NPCs (per suggestion by the user Zootalo). I have completed SMRPG (original and remake) and added everything to my sandbox. After a discussion with Nightwicked Bowser, we came to the conclusion to edit the template Template:RPG item locations to include screenshots of the exact locations of the items. Problem is I don't know how to change the template properly so it won't break and it will show up on different pages differently.

:It is fairly probable that users might have still voted for the first option even if those more official terms were to be presented in the proposal. From what I understand, there is no bottom tier indicator to go along with the "favoured / favourite" pair, which is frankly a little confusing in itself and mostly refers to the courses themselves anyway, not drivers or karts; the "Normal/Good/More Good" triplet (or its more grammatically correct counterpart, "Normal/Good/Better") is also flawed since "Normal" might be confused for the rarity classification of the same name. It would have been ideal to have those in the proposal since they're official, and I recognise that I should have asked Mister Wu for research first, but again, I think most users find little reason not to use the already highly-supported option. All the "citation needed" stuff I have added is only for descriptions as the exact wording is less important until the game comes out. All of them are things we know for sure what they do because we saw them in action in videos or mentioned in articles from hands on reviews (from sources I have cited). I added them so people don't have to infer what they do just from the name or combo alone, they have no context of all the hands on reviews or even different language Overview Trailer I have seen because most people don't check for sources. In fact, I tried to mimic the wording used by the ones we have seen so if there were mistakes, the wording wouldn't be completely different, I got Auto Syrup Jar's description spot on and immediately added the source to it at the same time. Another reason I did it is because mimicing the wording may cause people not to notice it is wrong immediately even after the game comes out. If I couldn't edit then, as the descriptions are a lower priority than gameplay, story, and maybe even images because the effort is just copying the text from items and tooltips, who would know to correct them without the tag pointing out they may not be completely accurate? But I get it, it is "speculation" after all, as long as it is not completely accurate, there is no point in informing wiki users of at least the basics of the facts. I am sorry I have overused citation needed for those purposes.

Hi, back again with yet another naming question. See, I intend to start a proposal to split two types of ''Mario Party'' spaces: the ones that send the player a fixed number of spaces in either direction, and the ones that require the player to roll a [[Dice Block]] in order to move in the given direction. Since both space variants that send the player backwards are known as "Back Spaces" in ''Mario Party 10'', I'd like to know what custom identifiers to use in this case.
