| == Signing Comments ==
| |
|
| |
| Hey, when signing comments you're coding shows up on the page. You should make it so it says <nowiki>{{User:MarioKid/sig}}</nowiki> or your new name <nowiki>{{User:LuigiBro/sig}}</nowiki>. Here is a guideline to ensure you get this right:
| |
| # Create a user subpage called User:MarioKid/sig.
| |
| # Put the coding of the sig you want on the page.
| |
| # Go to your preferences in between talk and watchlist and put in <nowiki>{{subst:nosubst:User:MarioKid/sig}}</nowiki> or LuigiBro, check treat signature as wiki text without an automatic link don't forget to click save.
| |
| [[Mariowiki:Signatures|This page]] has more information on this subject, I hope this helps. :) {{User:Fawful's Minion/sig}} 18:21, 28 August 2016 (EDT)
| |
| :I tried that with my old account, and it just showed up worse. It showed the coding on the actual page! Although... It has been a while, so I'll try again. | |
| :Nope, doesn't work. It still shows as <nowiki>{{User:MarioKid/sig}}</nowiki>. I don't think I can fix it. [[User:MarioKid|MarioKid]] ([[User talk:MarioKid|talk]]) 18:57, 28 August 2016 (EDT)
| |
| :Sorry, I mean it shows as <nowiki>{{subst:nosubst:User:MarioKid/sig}}</nowiki> on the actual page. [[User:MarioKid|MarioKid]] ([[User talk:MarioKid|talk]]) 19:01, 28 August 2016 (EDT)
| |
| :Sorry I think I got things mixed up, you're supposed to do it like this <nowiki>{{Subst:nosubst|User:MarioKid/sig}}</nowiki> I hope this works. {{User:Fawful's Minion/sig}} 19:16, 28 August 2016 (EDT)
| |
| ::Oh! Thanks, it's working now! Sorry for the whole mess! {{User:MarioKid/sig}} 19:27, 28 August 2016 (EDT)
| |
| :::Good job. :) {{User:Fawful's Minion/sig}} 19:29, 28 August 2016 (EDT)

| You have a history of edit warring. Don't revert [[:File:MPAdvanceUKboxart.jpg]] again. Just purge your browser cache. --{{User:Wildgoosespeeder/sig}} 23:53, 2 September 2016 (EDT)
| |
| :WHAT?! Can I ask HOW THE HECK that counts as edit warring?! Edit warring is undoing edits multiple times!!! How many times did i undo that one?! ONCE!!! {{User:MarioKid/sig}} 13:16, 3 September 2016 (EDT)
| |
| :Okay... Sorry about the last comment. I have to admit, I can have some... anger issues sometimes. {{User:MarioKid/sig}} 14:43, 3 September 2016 (EDT)
| |
| ::If you feel I was wrong, you can [[MarioWiki:Appeals|appeal]] and the warning will be reviewed by sysops. --{{User:Wildgoosespeeder/sig}} 14:43, 3 September 2016 (EDT)
| |
| :::BTW, I already recieved a warning for the edit warring. {{User:MarioKid/sig}} 15:15, 4 September 2016 (EDT)
| |
| Warning was overturned by {{user|YoshiKong}}. Sorry I caused this mess. At least a lesson can be learned from all this. If someone uploads a newer better version of an image and there is no debate the image is better, instead of reverting to the worse image, try to talk to the user first who overwrote the image. I think I fixed your issue and it had nothing to do with the upload I made. MediaWiki, the software this website uses, just went a little funky is all and can be fixed. My end, your userpage seems to be fine. You can see my solution [[MarioWiki:Appeals/Archive 2#LuigiBro (talk)|here]]. --{{User:Wildgoosespeeder/sig}} 23:40, 11 September 2016 (EDT)
| |
| :It's fine, you were just trying to enforce rules. You're still cool in my book :) {{User:MarioKid/sig}} 04:51, 13 September 2016 (EDT)

| == Unfeature nomination ==
| |
|
| |
| Hi there LuigiBro. Just to inform you that your vote on the [[Kart]] unfeature nomination was removed. All [[MarioWiki:Featured articles/Unfeature|unfeature]] votes must have a strong reason accompanying it, which should normally address the problems which have been brought up by the supporters. If you have any questions or not sure of something, ask away and I'll be happy to help.
| |
|
| |
| {{User:YoshiKong/sig}} 13:12, 14 September 2016 (EDT)
| |
| But it DID have a strong reason. There was nothing wrong with the article. {{User:MarioKid/sig}} 13:52, 14 September 2016 (EDT)
| |
|
| |
| :It wasn't a strong reason. All you said was "it's fine" without saying anything else about why the support vote reasons are wrong, new reasons why it should stay featured, etc. that are necessary to have a reasonable (no pun intended) vote. {{User:Roy Koopa/sig}} 13:56, 14 September 2016 (EDT)
| |
| ::Wouldn't saying something like ''per proposal'' or ''per nomination'' be sufficient like several users have done in the past? Overall, identifying if a vote has a strong reason accompanying is completely subjective and shouldn't be a rule. Not everyone has a paragraph to say, especially for the support votes. Oppose votes, I kind of understand, but shouldn't be a requirement. --{{User:Wildgoosespeeder/sig}} 15:55, 14 September 2016 (EDT)
| |
| :::@Wildgoosespeeder the nomination was for unfeaturing the article, so if I use that, it would be completely defying the point of my vote. {{User:MarioKid/sig}} 05:47, 16 September 2016 (EDT)
