Also, could you please provide source for your first and third bullet point [https://www.mariowiki.com/index.php?title=Luigi%27s_Mansion&diff=2512964&oldid=2512916 here]? As this is dealing with upcoming content and doesn't seem to be found anywhere in the official trailers, failing to provide a reference for your information may lead to it getting removed. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 01:48, 23 September 2018 (EDT)

== Italics ==
When naming game titles, [[MarioWiki:Manual of Style#Italicizing titles|please remember to ''italicise'' them]]. You do that by clicking the <tt>'''''I'''''</tt> icon above the text box and typing the name in, or typing two apostrophes before and after the name, so [[Super Mario All-Stars]] (<code><nowiki>[[Super Mario All-Stars]]</nowiki></code>) must be written as ''[[Super Mario All-Stars]]'' (<code><nowiki>''[[Super Mario All-Stars]]''</nowiki></code>). {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 01:55, July 22, 2019 (EDT)
Please recall what I said here. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 20:38, November 8, 2019 (EST)
Italics don't work with quotation marks (<code><nowiki>"[[Super Mario Party]]"</nowiki></code>); they need to be double apostrophes (<code><nowiki>''[[Super Mario Party]]''</nowiki></code>). {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 04:39, December 31, 2019 (EST)

{{warning|2=forgetting italics}}
Please remember this guideline; you've been reminded multiple times and would have noticed other game titles on the article using them. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 11:02, May 14, 2020 (EDT)
== Possessive pronouns ==
When referring to objects or non-gender-specific subjects, you use "its", not "his" ("his" is used for male subjects). e.g. "Tower restored of '''its''' colors." {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 08:39, July 27, 2019 (EDT)
== Minor edits ==
Hey, just reminding you to check the "minor edit" box when you fix typos or change text to have correct grammar. If it doesn't really change the content of an article, it's a minor edit. Thanks, and keep editing. [[User:JoeRunner|JoeRunner]] ([[User talk:JoeRunner|talk]] [[Special:Contributions/JoeRunner|and stuff]]) 10:17, August 14, 2019 (EDT)
:Oh, sorry. Apparently the "minor edit" button isn't available on mobile. Sorry! [[User:JoeRunner|JoeRunner]] ([[User talk:JoeRunner|talk]] [[Special:Contributions/JoeRunner|and stuff]]) 10:24, August 14, 2019 (EDT)
== ''Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon'' levels ==
Descriptions for images belong in the [[Gallery:Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon|game's gallery]], not in individual level/mission articles. Please keep this in mind when editing. Thanks! {{User:Toadette the Achiever/sig}} 16:03, August 21, 2019 (EDT)
:You are ignoring this. The infobox doesn't need the caption. {{User:Alex95/sig}} 16:13, August 21, 2019 (EDT)
{{reminder|2=ignoring the above, edit warring|overturned=yes}}
Any information you added has been removed, and will continue to be removed. Continuing to add the information and ignoring the reminder will result in a warning. Level infoboxes do not need a caption, it's more suited to a gallery image. {{User:Alex95/sig}} 16:19, August 21, 2019 (EDT)

{{last warning|overturned=yes}}
Any more edits of this kind and you may face a block. {{User:Toadette the Achiever/sig}} 16:36, August 21, 2019 (EDT)
After discussing this further with the admins, the warnings have been overturned. Like any other infobox, there's nothing wrong with having a caption in the level infoboxes. They can be added back. Apologies. {{User:Alex95/sig}} 12:17, August 22, 2019 (EDT)
== Grammar ==
"a" when used before a word beginning with a vowel should be "an" (e.g. "'''an''' elastic platform" instead of "a elastic platform"). Please try to watch your grammar, including what I said above about spaces before parentheses, as well as spelling - a common mistake you're making is "starring" (as in looking at something), which should be "staring". {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 00:16, September 1, 2019 (EDT)
== Linking ==
To link to another page with a different name in the link, it's done like this:
<pre>[[The name of the page you're linking to|The name displayed]]</pre>
e.g.
<pre>[[Luigi's Mansion (Nintendo 3DS)|Nintendo 3DS remake]]</pre>
Something to keep in mind since you left a dead link [[Special:Diff/2774503|here]]. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 00:04, October 5, 2019 (EDT)
== Fan-related info ==
Please avoid adding fan-related information like a game is "considered one of the best/classic/iconic/etc." and that "many fans requested a remake" based on what you've likely heard around the game community, forums etc. ([[Special:Diff/2896954|This is also not a typo]] btw) especially without providing anything to back it up. For reception sections in particular, it should be a [[MarioWiki:Reception and sales|summary of a consensus based on the critics' reviews]], not yours or fans'. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 19:48, March 5, 2020 (EST)
== PMTOK controls ==
Do not assume facts, please. Yes, it's likely you'll jump and hammer with {{button|switch|a}} and {{button|switch|b}}, but you shouldn't add them until it's actually been shown (nor has Nintendo even shown the hammer being used outside of artwork). And if something is true, [[#Luigi's Mansion 3DS|as with any info on upcoming games]], provide a source. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 01:38, May 19, 2020 (EDT)
Start citing your edits with sources. [[MarioWiki:Citations]] explains how you do this. Adding upcoming game information without a source will lead to them getting removed and a warning being issued. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 21:29, May 19, 2020 (EDT)
You mentioned "Bobby is the only one to have seen [[Luigi]], who has apparently been missing" according to a "website's description". I'd like to see a more specific source for this because there doesn't seem to be anything about this on the website. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 22:29, July 3, 2020 (EDT)
== "an" ==
"a" before a word beginning with a vowel should be "an" (e.g. "'''an''' Easter egg", not "a Easter egg"). EDIT: Just noticed I already notified you about this. Please keep this in mind. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 09:48, July 9, 2020 (EDT)
== Beta Larry ==
That's Larry, not Iggy, which the video even mentions. I've moved it [[7 Larry's Castle#Trivia|there]].
While I'm here, for future file uploads, remember to replace {{tem|uncategorized}} with a category link, as I've done [[Special:Diff/3218928|here]], and your file should use a descriptive title rather than the default file name that was given when you saved it. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 08:03, June 13, 2021 (EDT)
