-Well I'm not exactly an expert when it comes to Game Maker, but is everything on the screen floating to the left?  When I used it, I had a similar problem.  The select your game browser kept going down when I didn't put in the command for it to do that.  You can select how many pixels anything on the screen can move by issuing a certain command, and what probably happened is that you skipped too many.  Try using a smaller number, and if it still moves too much or too little change the number until you have your ideal movement.  I'll look forward to playing it once it's done! :D {{User:Glitchman/sig}}
-:Oh, kk, I see what you mean.  Well every object, item, character, etc. in the game is found on a grid while your making the game, and you can set the size of the grid to whatever you want, but you must make an action for each item/thing in the game, whether you want music to play when a certain enemy or level appears, when you press the left arrow you want the player to move left, etc.  The only solution to your problem I can think of would be that in the "action" commands, the movement is set to the wrong pixels.  Try minimizing the distance everything moves.  If that doesn't work, I can't really help you, because I'm not very experienced with it myself. {{User:Glitchman/sig}}
