I'm going to be honest here, a large number of edits around here have been problematic. You edit sniped another user in creating a page for their passed proposal before asking the user first, which is a violation of [[MarioWiki:Courtesy]], [[User_talk:HEROMARIO/Archive_1|something you were already reminded for]]; undoing legitimate edits without a proper reason; and always having to be constantly pointed out certain policy pages after you were told several times to familiarise yourself with MarioWiki guidelines. You have claimed once or twice that you've read the rules, though judging from the above messages, I'm finding it hard to believe you've done so carefully, and I strongly suggest you do starting now. Please pay closer attention to how things are done around here before jumping to rash decisions next time. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 23:31, May 21, 2019 (EDT)

:You are perfectly right, I will use the rules before my edits unless it is by an obvious vandal. {{User:HEROMARIO/sig}} 09:37, May 22, 2019 (EDT)

==RE:Removing Comments==
See [[Mariowiki:Courtesy]]. "''The only comments you are allowed to remove are flames and acts of vandalism, and the only times you can alter another user's comment is to fix broken coding or replace a custom signature with <nowiki>{{user}}</nowiki> on pages which enforce the no-signature policy. Altering the actual content of a comment, even if you're just fixing typos, is a warnable offense. This is not limited to mainspace: even on your own talk page, you shouldn't delete a conversation. It is also inappropriate to go back and alter or remove your own comments from talk pages; if you no longer stand by something you said earlier, slash it out using <nowiki><s></s></nowiki> or <nowiki><del></del></nowiki>, but be sure to leave it up for the record. In proposals and FA nominations, if no one has "per"d your vote or addressed it in the comments, you may remove it; however, if someone has referred to your vote, you must slash it out and ensure that it is no longer counted in the tally by affixing it to the preceding line through use of <nowiki><br></nowiki>.''" {{User:Doomhiker/sig}} 13:36, July 12, 2019 (EDT)

{{delete-reason|Swinging platform}}
Please put effort into your articles, rather than just making them a few sentences and marking them under construction. Your article is also missing categories, templates, etc. Asking for help is great and encouraged, but should before you make a near-empty article.
Do you have a source for "swinging platform" as well? {{User:Alex95/sig}} 23:05, June 26, 2020 (EDT)
:Sorry, I don’t know what you mean by sorce. The thing is that I really don’t know of a place to work on these articals to make them finished. Though, I suppose I can make them in my sandbox with a lot of info on them. I’ll try to do better next time. {{User:HEROMARIO/sig}} 23:09, June 26, 2020 (EDT)
::Source, as in where the name comes from. I'm not finding the name in Nintendo Power, for example. Working on the article in your sandbox is good, yeah. {{User:Alex95/sig}} 23:24, June 26, 2020 (EDT)
::Ok. {{User:HEROMARIO/sig}} 23:28, June 26, 2020 (EDT)
:::I'll answer that one for you. It comes from pages 52 and 236 from the NSMBU Prima guide. {{User:Toadette the Achiever/sig}} 00:41, June 27, 2020 (EDT)
You should also refresh yourself on wiki code and what goes into a new article before actually making the article. You need to go over [[MarioWiki:Manual of Style]] carefully as you were previously reminded [[User_talk:HEROWALUIGI/Archive_1|several times]]. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 00:32, June 27, 2020 (EDT)
:I’ll be sure to do that. {{User:HEROMARIO/sig}} 09:29, June 27, 2020 (EDT)
In response to your question on my talk page:
#''Super Mario 64 DS'' is a remake, not a sequel.
#There should be spaces between the games and the slash.
#Nowhere in the article example does it describe what a swinging platform is.
#I'm not entirely sure if an info box is needed for obstacles.
#We don't link to games in headers for main articles, so the link to the game should be in the section text.
#References should be above templates, not below them.
#Referring to MarioWiki does not count, it has to be an external source.
Also, personal subpages should not have navtemplates and be categorized like a normal article, but you are free to comment out the category and then add it normally when it is ready like <nowiki><!--Text--></nowiki>. {{User:Alex95/sig}} 15:14, June 27, 2020 (EDT)
:ok got it.
::Finished it {{User:HEROMARIO/sig}} 15:57, June 27, 2020 (EDT)
:::Okay, I'm going to be blunt and say that not all examples you listed are indeed swinging platforms. For example, the ones in ''Super Mario 3D World'' are instead called "'''tilting platforms'''" by that game's Prima guide, and for a good reason too. Also, I should point out that the platforms you mentioned in ''Super Mario 64'' and ''Super Mario 64 DS'' look more like pendulums, and are even reused in 4-Castle of ''New Super Mario Bros.'' near the beginning and end of the level. The platforms I'm thinking of are specifically the ones that sway back-and-forth on chains. {{User:Toadette the Achiever/sig}} 16:41, June 27, 2020 (EDT)
:Ok....So what are examples of it. Because in my mind a swinging platform are the pendulum ones. And why didn’t Alex95 mention this? What is the real definition of one? {{User:HEROMARIO/sig}} 16:46, June 27, 2020 (EDT)
::The examples I'm thinking about are found in {{world-link|1|tower|World 1-Tower (New Super Mario Bros. Wii)}} in ''[[New Super Mario Bros. Wii]]'' (colored red), [[Lemmy's Swingback Castle]] in ''[[New Super Mario Bros. U]]'' (colored blue), and [[Lemmy's Lights-Out Castle]] in ''[[New Super Luigi U]]'' (colored blue). {{User:Toadette the Achiever/sig}} 17:44, June 27, 2020 (EDT)
::Also, see [[:File:NSLU Lemmy's Lights-Out Castle Screenshot.png|this image]] from ''Luigi U''. It's specifically the platform Luigi is standing on there. {{User:Toadette the Achiever/sig}} 17:48, June 27, 2020 (EDT)
::Right....But they have the exact same functionality. And I should add those examples to the article.. {{User:HEROMARIO/sig}} 17:46, June 27, 2020 (EDT)
:::Sorry, I'm uncertain if the pendulum platforms are considered the exact same thing. Sure, they operate on the same concept, but that hasn't stopped us from splitting stuff out in the past. {{User:Toadette the Achiever/sig}} 17:52, June 27, 2020 (EDT)
::::Well. They really do the exact same thing and look very similar. I could also change the name of it to pendulum platforms. {{User:HEROMARIO/sig}} 17:54, June 27, 2020 (EDT)
:::::Do you mean split out the "pendulum platforms" until their connection to swinging platforms is proven or disproven? {{User:Toadette the Achiever/sig}} 17:59, June 27, 2020 (EDT)
::::::No. I mean merge the two until the difference is proven or disproven. {{User:HEROMARIO/sig}} 18:00, June 27, 2020 (EDT)

Meaning that there's still further actions that need to be taken in order to resolve the issue. From my viewpoint, the notice can only be removed if there's nothing left to deliberate and it's safe to downplay the discussion. For example, in [[Talk:Apprentice|this discussion]], the pages in question still need to be moved to the mentioned proper titles. Stuff like that. {{User:Toadette the Achiever/sig}} 17:41, June 27, 2020 (EDT)
:Ok got it. {{User:HEROMARIO/sig}} 17:43, June 27, 2020 (EDT)
== Images ==
[[User_talk:HEROWALUIGI/Archive_1#Images|Please review these reminders]]. {{tem|uncategorized}} is not replaced with "<nowiki>{{screenshot}}</nowiki>" (this is already taken care of when you selected a license in "Licensing"). It should be replaced with a category from [[:Category:MarioWiki images]] depending on where the image came from. So for an image from ''[[Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games]]'', starting from [[:Category:MarioWiki images]], you'd go to "Images by game" and find "Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games Images", so you'd type <code><nowiki>[[Category:Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games Images]]</nowiki></code> (remember square brackets, not curly brackets). If you intend to keep editing, you should be going over your past reminders and refamiliarising yourself with the guidelines without users having to constantly point out the same things again to you. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 00:36, June 28, 2020 (EDT)
:Ok got it. {{User:HEROMARIO/sig}} 10:59, June 28, 2020 (EDT)
::You forgot "Images" but otherwise yes. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 00:08, June 29, 2020 (EDT)
When you add the image to an article, make sure you specify a width as well. It shouldn't be too big or too small, so something like <code><nowiki>[[File:Girls bonus 2.jpg|250px]]</nowiki></code> (250 pixels) is good. {{User:Mario jc/sig}} 00:10, June 29, 2020 (EDT)
:Ok I’ll remember that. {{User:HEROMARIO/sig}} 08:49, June 29, 2020 (EDT)
