::I think having quotes in the Japanese version as well as English will just be excessive and potentially clutter quote pages. We normally only note localization inconsistancies if they are dead serious such as with a lot of things from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it's not really necessary for minor dialogue differences. {{User:Swallow/sig}} 19:15, October 19, 2022 (EDT) | ::I think having quotes in the Japanese version as well as English will just be excessive and potentially clutter quote pages. :::Understandable. I think in the case of these, though. They're... PRETTY big dialogue differences. Such as the change between "Ahaha! Just as I plotted, you jumped right into the game!" and "Ahaaaaaaaaa! I love the smell of impending doom!" as well as the fact Larry simply complimented Mario's cooking in the Japanese version, whereas in the English version, he complimented it followed by a death threat "At least that way you'd have had a nice long culinary existence" he was never supposed to say. There was also giving the quotes the complete opposite meaning such as "Ah, Mario! You caught up with me? Not bad." the English version changed it to "Took you long enough, pal." and while "I'm almost done digesting that giant steak I ate" sounds ALMOST the same I guess, they left out the part where Larry was admitting he actually wanted to rest more, which he said was because he ate a lot at the restaurant, but since Mario caught up with him, there was no helping it. --[[User:GoldyFish110|GoldyFish110]] ([[User talk:GoldyFish110|talk]]) 19:38, October 20, 2022 (EDT) | :::Understandable.
